Overview
The 100G SFP56-DD SR2 optical module is built on the 2×50G PAM4 modulation technology. Boasting the advantages of double density and ultra-high port density, SFP56-DD (Double Density) enables 100 Gbps high-speed transmission via 2×53.125 Gbps electrical lanes while maintaining the form factor of the conventional SFP+ (approx. 14×56mm). Compared with QSFP28 (18.35×72.4mm), SFP56-DD reduces the occupied PCB space by around 35%, allowing more ports to be accommodated in the same footprint and facilitating higher-density network deployments.
