The 1600G linear CPO combines a SOCKET-type package with LPO linear direct-drive technology.Compared with traditional NPO/CPO designs, the linear CPO silicon photonics engine eliminates the DSP, resulting in significantly lower system-level power consumption and reduced overall costs.

The EL-OSFP External Light Source Module adopts a light-source-forward design to deliver continuous-wave (CW) light for CPO systems. This design unlocks the full potential of the CPO architecture, enhances thermal dissipation efficiency, and reduces maintenance costs.
