The 100G SFP56-DD SR2 optical module is built on 2×50G PAM4 modulation technology, delivering double-density capability and exceptional port density for next-generation high-performance networks.
The SFP56-DD (Double Density) form factor maintains the compact footprint of a traditional SFP+ module (approximately 14 × 56 mm), while enabling 100 Gbps high-speed transmission through two 53.125 Gbps electrical lanes.
Compared with QSFP28 (18.35 × 72.4 mm), the SFP56-DD significantly optimizes PCB utilization, reducing occupied board space by approximately 35%. This enables a higher number of ports within the same system footprint, supporting ultra-high-density network deployments and improved system scalability.
