1.6T NPO SiPh Engine

The 1.6T NPO Silicon Photonics Engine, based on linear direct-drive technology, is part of GIGALIGHT’s portfolio of innovative products for the next-generation optical network era. It combines a SOCKET-type package with LPO linear direct-drive technology.Compared with traditional NPO/CPO designs, the linear NPO silicon photonics engine eliminates the DSP, resulting in significantly lower system-level power consumption and reduced overall costs.

The ELSFP External Light Source Module adopts a light-source-forward design to deliver continuous-wave (CW) light for NPO systems. This design unlocks the full potential of the NPO architecture, enhances thermal dissipation efficiency, and reduces maintenance costs.
