Gigalight Awarded Key Invention Patent for Active Cable System(Hybrid ACC+)
September 15, 2025, Shenzhen, China. – Gigalight has recently been granted a key invention patent for AI and data center interconnection systems. The patent, titled Active Cable and Communication System, is commercially known as Hybrid ACC+ (Hybrid Technology Architecture Equivalent Active Cable). It combines the advantages of existing PCC/ACC and AEC technologies, featuring a redesigned system interconnection architecture. The solution aims to reduce power consumption, latency, and cost by 50% compared with AEC cables, while achieving up to 80% of the optimal AEC transmission distance. Practical deployment is still under verification.


The patent builds upon prior industry achievements, particularly leveraging the patent contributions of CREDO. While overcoming the technical challenges posed by existing CREDO patents is extremely difficult, Gigalight—driven by its design-led approach to advancing industry technology—has successfully achieved this breakthrough in the active cable field.
