    GIGALIGHT’s 800G OSFP / 800G QSFP-DD and 1.6T OSFP224 Hybrid ACC+ copper cable products leverage a key patented technology for AI & DC interconnect systems: the Hybrid Architecture Equivalent Active Copper Cable (Hybrid ACC+).

    This patent combines the advantages of existing PCC/ACC and AEC technologies and is redesigned at the system interconnect level. The design goal is to achieve 50% reductions in power consumption, latency, and cost compared with conventional AEC cables, while delivering a transmission reach close to 80% of the optimal AEC cable distance.

    800G FR8 (2 km) Optical Interconnect Solution for Data Centers

    Overview

    GIGALIGHT’s 800G FR8 optical module adopts 8-channel LWDM wavelength-division multiplexing technology to enable 800GE transmission over dual fibers up to 2 km. Compared with 800G 2×FR4 solutions, it saves two fiber cores, significantly reducing deployment and O&M costs.

    Designed for future Optical Circuit Switch (OSC) architectures, the 800G FR8 supports single-fiber single-mode BiDi 800GE transmission up to 500 m via integrated or external optical circulators, effectively conserving OSC port resources and delivering greater network efficiency and value.

    GIGALIGHT 800G QSFP-DD FR8/LR8

    The newly launched 800G FR8/LR8 adopts the QSFP-DD package and an EML emitter. The 800G QSFP-DD FR8 uses CWDM wavelengths for a transmission distance of 2km, while the 800G QSFP-DD LR8 employs LAN-WDM wavelengths for a transmission distance of 10km.

    Compared to 800G FR4/LR4, GIGALIGHT’s 800G series optical transceivers boast superior OSNR performance due to the better signal-to-noise ratio of 100G PAM4 compared to 200G PAM4. This means that in the vast stream of information, our optical signals can travel farther and more stably.

    The 800G QSFP-DD FR8/LR8 optical transceivers are suitable for core transmission scenarios in high-performance, high-speed data centers and telecommunication networks:

    Shenzhen, China, June 25, 2021 − The first Yangtze River Delta Optical Communication Industry Summit Forum with the theme of “Optical Linking Everything, Colorful Future” was grandly held in Suzhou on June 23-25. At the meeting, GIGALIGHT’s 8-channel optical design 400G QSFP-DD LR8 optical module won the “2021 Innovative Product Award” in the optical module category for its outstanding product performance and unique architecture design.
    Subvert Tradition, Breakthrough Innovation
    GIGALIGHT 400G QSFP-DD LR8 is a hot-pluggable optical transceiver module, using a single PCB design. The power consumption is less than 12W under three temperature conditions, which is at the leading level in the industry. At the same time, the product has excellent signal integrity and photoelectric integrated design. Due to the 50G PAM4 CDR based on DSP technology, the product has excellent performance and fully meets the application of single-mode dual-fiber G.652 transmission for 10km.
