RFA Card

The RFA optical amplifier board is developed by GIGALIGHT for use in dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical communication systems in conjunction with EDFA amplification. Based on stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) effect in optical fibers, it effectively mitigates the impact of nonlinear effects such as four-wave mixing and improves the system’s optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR), significantly extending the transmission distance.
