OCM Card

The DWDM Multi-Channel Monitoring Board, also known as OCM (Optical Channel Monitor), is designed to enable online monitoring of the center wavelength, power level, signal-to-noise ratio, and number of optical channels in the system. It reports the monitored wavelength, power level, and number of optical channels to the main control board for processing. It allows the system to monitor different points along the routes, making it easier and more convenient for the system to detect alarms and locate faults.

  • Utilizes optical switching for selecting the direction of the optical path.
