DCM Card

DCM (Dispersion Compensation Module) is a single-mode fiber developed by GIGALIGHT to address the issue of fiber dispersion in high-speed long-distance communication systems. It is designed to compensate for dispersion in standard single-mode fibers that are already deployed. DCM has slope compensation functionality, enabling wideband dispersion slope compensation for standard single-mode fibers in the C-band, optimizing residual dispersion in the system. It is based on mature and reliable fiber technology, enhancing the performance of optical transmission systems. It can achieve a dispersion range of -10 to -2100 ps/nm at a wavelength of 1550nm and can provide products with specific requirements for center wavelength and dispersion.
